The redesigned "K" Series AMANA PTAC features integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with the new AMANA brand mobile app, to streamline unit setting and configuration time. The modern and streamlined appearance eliminates the user-operated control pad, requiring a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation. The Bluetooth and RF connectivity allows for advanced unit troubleshooting and diagnostics, accessible through either the thermostat or the AMANA mobile app.
The improved design and materials used in the new AMANA PTAC aim to reduce operating noise and exterior sound transmission, providing a more pleasant and quieter room experience. The unit boasts a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, making it quieter than previous models. Additionally, the new design features a modern Quiet White color.
Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the new AMANA PTAC can now achieve an EER value of up to 14.0. New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included with the unit. The PTAC fits a standard sleeve size of 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8" and can cool and heat an application area of up to 550 sq. ft.
The purchase includes the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which can control the AMANA PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.
The new "K" Series AMANA PTAC is powered by a 230.0 volt system and has a capacity of 1.0 ounces. It is designed for through-the-wall installation.
